U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc. recently announced that is has purchased a former ceramic proppant facility in Millen, Ga., that will be converted into manufacturing high-end products for the company’s Industrial and Specialties Products (ISP) business. U.S. Silica is in the initial stages of customer trials and expects to begin full production at the plant in the second half of this year.
