Indian Ceramics Asia 2019
Visitors to the combined Indian Ceramics and Ceramics Asia can expect to see a broad range of technologies focused on ceramic and brick manufacturing.
The 14th annual edition of Indian Ceramics will take place February 27-March 1 in Gujarat, India. The event is held concurrently with Ceramics Asia, creating what is reportedly Asia’s largest trade fair focusing on the ceramic and brick industry. Indian Ceramics 2018 featured approximately 300 exhibitors and a trade audience of over 8,100 visitors.
Indian Ceramics 2019, which is powered by ceramitec and organized by Messe München India, a subsidiary of Messe München GmbH, will cover an area of over 18,500 m2. More than 325 exhibitors from India, Europe, China, and other countries are expected to participate, sharing information on a wide range of machinery, high-quality raw materials, analysis and laboratory equipment, technical ceramics, storage and materials handling products, and much more used in the ceramic and brick industry.
Ceramics Asia has been held since 2012. The exhibition covers a total show space of 15,000 m2, with over 300 exhibitors from China and India, as well as other countries. Attendees can expect to see the whole spectrum of the ceramic industry supply chain, from machinery and raw materials to technologies.
In addition to the exhibits, this year’s event will again feature multiple notable programs for visitors to explore. The 6th edition of Innovation Exchange will be located within the show venue of Indian Ceramics Asia. This platform is designed for the show participants, industry think tanks, consultants and industry technicians to provide meaningful insights into current trends, the impact of new and emerging technologies, sustainability, and global best practices in the ceramic industry.
Show organizers are planning 30-min slots showcasing innovative products or services throughout all show days by speakers ranging from exhibitors and sponsors to industry technical associations and special invitees. This program will allow the audience to engage in high-level talks and to attend a selection of high-quality oral contributions.
The Buyer Seller Forum is a new initiative for Indian Ceramics and Ceramics Asia 2019 that is reportedly designed to generate new business opportunities by helping exhibitors meet the right B2B professionals. VIP buyer delegates have been invited to participate (open only to those in positions such as chairman; owner/proprietor; managing director; CEO, COO or CFO; commercial or administrative director; and head of operations, production, purchasing, finance, quality control, design, and R&D, among others).
The popular Job Fair will again feature in 2019 to enable exhibitors to meet top talent from the ceramic industry and conduct personal interviews during exhibition days in a dedicated area. This free service for participating exhibitors and registered visitors enables job seekers to meet top companies from India and overseas and find a new job, while hiring companies have the opportunity to position themselves as market leaders and hire new talent from the ceramic and brick industries.
Several concurrent events will complement the offerings of Indian Ceramics Asia 2019 and give attendees multiple opportunities to learn even more about specific segments of the ceramic and related industries.
Engineering and Technical Ceramics Exhibition
The Engineering and Technical Ceramics Exhibition (ETC) will focus on advanced ceramic materials that stand out due to their specialized properties, including high resistance to corrosion, erosion and wear; high-temperature electrical and thermal insulation; and high heat resistance. According to organizers, ETC is the only platform in India for domestic and foreign companies involved in the development of advanced ceramics to strengthen communication and cooperation, improve brand value, promote new products and expand market share.
Visitors from end-use industries such as medicine and medical technology, electronics, and energy (including solar) are expected to attend. Exhibitors will showcase their latest products and technologies for advanced ceramic raw materials and machinery ranging from grinding and pressing to furnaces and measurement controls.
Indian Brick and Roof Tile Expo
The 10th edition of Indian Brick and Roof Tile Expo (iBaRT) will provide attendees with multiple opportunities to explore the latest technologies, machinery and services available for brick and roof tile manufacturing. During last year’s iBaRT, more than 50 exhibitors and 7,500 visitors participated.
iBaRT exhibitors will detail their offerings for products such as blending and mixing machines, extruders, kilns and dryers, molding machines, feeding and batching technologies, raw materials, dust extraction and filtering, and many more. Visitors from a range of interested sectors are expected to attend, including brick and roof tile manufacturers, kiln manufacturers, interior designers, and architects, among others.
