Organizers Declare Cevisama 2019 a Success
The U.S. was one of the main sources of foreign visitors to Cevisama 2019.
Organizers of Cevisama, the international fair for ceramic tile, bathrooms and natural stone, recently reported positive results for the 2019 event. “All the indications are that we will have beaten last year’s record figures, when more than 94,000 professionals came through the door, including 17,000 foreign buyers,” said Manuel Rubert, Cevisama’s president, and Carmen Álvarez, the show’s director.
According to Rubert, visitors included major distributors; buyers with purchasing and decision-making power; and specifiers such as architects, interior designers, and property developers specializing in large projects. The president underscored the presence of the biggest importers from the U.S. at the fair. The U.S. is a growing market that is expected to become the top destination for sales of Spain’s ceramic tile.
The U.S. was one of the main sources of foreign visitors to Cevisama 2019, “but European buyers, especially from Germany, France and the United Kingdom were also a remarkably strong presence,” said Rupert. “It was also quite a surprise that, in spite of the challenges of their various markets, the Middle East, North Africa and even Russia fielded some very important visitors to Cevisama.”
Cevisama 2020 will be held February 3-7 at Feria Valencia. Additional information is available at https://cevisama.feriavalencia.com/en.
