The Alliance for the Development of Additive Processing Technologies (ADAPT), an industry-academia consortium that advances data informatics and advanced characterization technologies to optimize additive manufacturing, recently announced that it had welcomed new member Lithoz America.
It is expected that the facility will contribute to the improvement of social issues in Nagaokakyo City, as well as the creation of a more complete family support system within Murata.

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., along with Nagaokakyo City and the Sakuranbo Welfare Association, will open a combined childcare facility comprising Sakuranbo nursery, for the purpose of alleviating the issue of children on waiting lists in Nagaokakyo City, and Kaede nursery, which is a company-run nursery, for the purpose of supporting diverse work styles.
Each of the four companies reportedly holds technology related to SOFCs, which are used to solve energy and environmental problems in various settings (home, business, industrial).

Four companies in the Morimura Group—Noritake Co., Ltd.; TOTO Ltd.; NGK Insulators, Ltd.; and NGK Spark Plug Co., Ltd.—have reportedly jointly concluded a memorandum of understanding regarding the establishment of a joint venture (JV) focusing on solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs).
