Multitasking has become a way of life everywhere in business. In last week's CI CyberNews CyberPoll, we asked readers how many projects they are working on concurrently. Most respondents are working on four or more projects at once (33% said four, and another 33% said five or more). The remaining 44% of respondents were evenly divided: 17% said two projects, while the other 17% said three.
I have always juggled multiple assignments. I can't imagine a professional job that would permit work on only one activity.
Looking to wind down the number of projects, it gets tough to give full attention to them all.
