In last week's CI CyberNews CyberPoll, we asked readers how many trade shows they plan to attend in 2015. The majority (66.7%) plan to travel to one or two shows this year, while 22.2% will be going to between three and five shows this year. The remaining respondents (11.1%) will not be attending any trade shows in 2015.
"Trade shows have never been a great direct sales tool for us. At best they result in soft sales in the future. We have not exhibited for years now, but do attend 1-2 shows each year to stay up to date with the players in the field."
"Local events only for me. By the time one adds the registration fee, travel, hotel, food, etc., conferences become cost-prohibitive, at least for the self-employed."
