According to a recent story on NPR, some workplaces (like Coca-Cola and JPMorgan Chase) are doing away with voicemail in an effort to increase worker productivity. In last week’s CyberPoll, we asked if you think this is a good move.
Most of the respondents (66%) do not think that doing away with voicemail is a good idea. However, one participant who answered yes commented, “If they got rid of the desk phones and went to cell phones, their personnel would be accessible when needed. So you wouldn’t need to leave a message.”
