This week in ceramic news, RAK Ceramics reportedly played a big role this year’s 14th annual Clean Up UAE week. The event brought together volunteers, companies and government agencies to remove litter and waste across the United Arab Emirates. RAK Ceramics’ effort led the way in Ras Al Khaimah.
“Each year, the annual UAE cleanup campaign gives us a chance to lend a hand in keeping the UAE’s landscape clean and free from litter and pollution,” said Abdallah Massaad, CEO. “As a socially responsible company, we are keen to support local initiatives that contribute to developing a more sustainable environment. We are delighted to be invited to take part once again and to help protect Ras Al Khaimah for our future generations.”
