This week in glass news, glass panel installation has begun for Amazon’s new biosphere headquarters in downtown Seattle. The new 3.3 million-sq- ft complex will include three glass biomes spanning three blocks, inside of which over 300 plants from 30 different countries will grow. The new campus will also include three office towers and public courtyards. At the end of April, the frame of the western biome was painted and glass installation begun. The biomes are scheduled to be completed in 2017.
