Automotive glass producer Fuyao Glass America Inc. recently finished work renovating a closed General Motors plant in Moraine, Ohio, holding a grand opening of the facility earlier this month. Fuyao has invested nearly $450 million in turning the old automotive plant, which was closed in 2008, into a recycled glass manufacturing hub. The plant reportedly will have a production capacity of 4 million units; it is China’s largest investment in the state of Ohio and the eighth largest in the U.S. The plant employs over 2,000 people, and the company hopes to add 300-500 more jobs by the end of the year.
