SCHOTT’s three German Innovation Award nominations drew the most reader interest last week (Three SCHOTT Products Nominated for German Innovation Award): “SCHOTT recently announced that three of its products have been nominated by the German Design Council for the German Innovation Award 2018. While two of the nominated products (PURAVIS® and HelioJet®) are currently available, the new LuminaLine product concept will be launched later this year. All three products come from SCHOTT’s Lighting & Imaging business unit.
“‘We are very happy to toe the line with three products,’ said Andreas Uthmann, head of Marketing for SCHOTT Lighting & Imaging. ‘In LuminaLine, we’ve sent a product concept to the competition. It’s nice to see our innovative light guide concept is being embraced, as it offers solutions for numerous industries.’”
