Corning’s second quarter results were reportedly driven by year-over-year sales growth in each of the company’s businesses; total GAAP sales reached $2.7 billion, up 10% compared to the 2017 second quarter, while core sales were $2.8 billion, a 9% increase compared to the prior year’s quarter.
SCHOTT will target companies with sales up to around €150 million (approximately $174.7 million) that are operating in the fields of pharma and electronic packaging, optical components and materials, lighting components and solutions, and glass powder and fiber.
