The cooperation between RAK Ceramics and the Sacmi Group continues as part of a strategic implementation and optimization plan for the Ras Al Kaiman plant,Sacmi Rak 300 which is situated in the United Arab Emirates. A new integrated glazing station (the seventh to be installed in the plant) was reportedly brought online with ease and speed in just one month. During testing, it reportedly yielded optimum results and allowed manufacturing to begin immediately. The station was reportedly made operational so quickly because of the easy assembly, streamlined start-up procedures and user-friendly Gaiotto robot programming, which allows users to import and successfully repeat programs that have already been used on previous robots.

The glazing line, which guarantees an output of about 800 pcs/day, consists of a four-station turret controlled by an eight-axis GA2000 Gaiotto robot that incorporates an integrated glaze delivery control system. The system allows spraying parameters (e.g., glaze delivery rate, spray aperture) to be personalized for the various piece models. All parameters are directly customizable via the robot joystick.
