On a recent visit to Alaska, President Obama announced plans to change the name of Mt. McKinley to Denali, in a nod to the region’s native population. Last week, we asked if you agreed with this change.

Readers were evenly split on this issue, with 46% agreeing and 46% disagreeing. 8% were unsure.

One participant commented, “Why not do something that would really help the native population, like allow drilling in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR)?”
