Ron Thompson, president and CEO of Lhoist North America, recently announced that H.C. Spinks Clay Co. will implement a general price increase effective January 1, 2016. Pricing of air-floated ball clay products will reportedly be increased 5-9%, mechanically dried products 3-9%, and shredded products 5-10%. The increases are subject to contractual commitments already in place. 

Thompson stated that the increases are necessary to support H.C. Spinks Clay’s long-term investment in production capabilities, quality control, environmental and regulatory compliance, maintenance, and new product development.
