A fourth Sacmi/Gaiotto robotized glazing system has begun operation at Sanikey’s new production plant in Istanbul. As with the previous plants, the start-up was completed in one week. The glazing system reportedly is suitable for all models of both vitreous china and fine fire clay and is compatible with previously existing glazing programs.

Like its predecessors, the Gaiotto GDA80 spray gun and glazing center consists of a four-station carousel with a dry glazing booth controlled by computer on the GA2000 robot. All machine functions and settings are controlled directly via the joystick, including all glaze control parameters.

This fourth Gaiotto plant reportedly will boost Sanikey’s automatically glazed piece daily output capacity while ensuring high quality standards.
