Brampton Brick Ltd. recently announced that it has entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire Eurobloq Inc., including its concrete products facility located in Boisbriand, Quebec. This acquisition will reportedly add the production and distribution capacity required to meet the growing demand for the company’s masonry and landscape products in the Quebec and Eastern Ontario regions.

The aggregate purchase price is anticipated to be approximately $5 million to $6 million, including expenses associated with incorporating the assets into the company. The transaction was expected to close on or about March 11, 2016, subject to usual conditions such as satisfactory due diligence, as well as court approval.
