The new HE series infrared fiber optic cables are designed to meet the specifications required by military and industrial applications. The hermetically sealed, fiber-in-metal tube cables can be used to house and shield the company’s mid-infrared Fibers (iGuideTM) against severe physical (e.g., pull, bend, and crush) and extreme environmental (e.g., shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, pressure, and liquid immersion) conditions. Cable assemblies are available in a variety of lengths and feature a flexible square-lock conduit and an optional PVDF lining for enhanced protection from liquids.
