Refractory One Source, Inc. recently rolled out Phase II of its online community for refractory professionals, http://www.USA-ROS.com.

"This phase contains the platform that many visitors have been requesting, including a product database, evaluation of new products, daily industry news and a major project board," said Todd Lobaugh, founder and president."

The site also includes many other useful resources, such as an industry directory, a career center and an asset exchange to move or sell excess inventories. "We included an e-business solutions package in Phase II to assist companies in the refractory community who want to enter the electronic business world," said Lobaugh. "This feature is offered through strategic partnerships developed with leading Internet content providers."

For companies that have already made investments in e-commerce sites, a unique traffic-driving feature will be available. Membership is free.
